Are you looking for your next life-changing experience? From cycling the Taiwanese coast to cattle ranching in Argentina, this is how we did it. But that's not all - what is good for you should also be good for the planet. Learn how to leave only positive footprints behind you during your travels!

Almost a Typical Travel Blog

Tell me more!

On a cold morning of January 2018, we left our jobs and our flat for the other side of the world with no return ticket - excited and scared at the same time. On our shoulders, a 10-kg bag that will be our home for the next months? years?

We both used to work as "sustainability" consultants. Travelling can have both a positive and negative impact on the environment and the people. So we created a tool, open source, to measure this - Be one of the first to use it!

Data is cool, but it is only a start. Many issues are multi-faceted - only stories can capture this.

Is hitchhiking ethical? How to offset your carbon footprint? What is "responsible consumption"? How to cycle the Taiwan coast?

Finally, we try to get involved in local projects. From rice farming in Taiwan to cattle ranching in Argentina, permaculture in Cambodia and fig growing in Malaysia, waste in Sri Lanka and indigenous people in Brazil.
